Elizabeth and Jared had waited so long to become husband and wife. When COVID was making their big celebration impossible, they decided to go to Nantucket and have a Wauwinet wedding with their immediate family.
They planned the most elegant, micro-wedding and it turned out just perfect.
Their first look was one of our favorites to date– you can see why from Jared’s reaction– simply priceless!
After the first look, we took some portraits around the beach and on the docks before heading back up for the ceremony.
It was a bit of a windy day on the island, so the couple opted to have their ceremony in a sheltered area on the grass, surrounded by lush greens.
Their ceremony was intimate and filled with happy tears, an exchange of vows, and sealed with a kiss!
After their exit, the couple shared embraces with their family.
Then it was time to head indoors for their intimate, seated dinner in the side room of the famous Topper’s Restaurant.
Soiree Floral did an incredible job at creating their tablescapes with gorgeous pops of pink and orange.
They made the restaurant look like the perfect extension of Jared and Elizabeth’s natural destination.
We were about to say goodbye as they sat down for dinner, but we decided to stick around after their Wauwinet wedding in case there was a surprise sunset, and sure enough….THERE WAS!
As the sky started to change colors, Elizabeth and Jared, along with their family came running outside to get a glimpse of the beautiful scenery.
Thankfully, we were still there and able to get a shot of the couple just as the sun dipped below the horizon.
It was a day we’ll never forget and we were so grateful to have been there to capture so many special moments.
