From the bride: New York City means so much to us as a couple, it is where we went on our first date, got engaged, and have spent so many incredible nights together. Chris having played for the New York Giants and me growing up in the Tri-State area, we couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect city to host our Tribeca Rooftop Wedding.
Tribeca Rooftop wedding venue was amazing for our quintessential New York City event. It blended our Nigerian and Italian cultures beautifully. Our guests came from all around the country, and it was the perfect way of seeing everyone after two long years of living in this covid world.
We had to push our wedding date back, like so many others. It was supposed to be in April however it rained on April 16th, our original date, but the official date, August 6th, was the most beautiful day of the summer.
The sun set just as our ceremony was starting which made for a beautiful background for the cocktail hour on the roof, where our guests enjoyed oysters, sushi, hors d’oeuvres, and custom rolled cigars.
All the decor was black and white with beautiful white florals from pedestal florist in Long Island.
The dinner hour was made complete with a performance by Charlie Romo, who entertained the guest with a tribute to Frank Sinatra before the DJ and saxophone player took over.
Guests such as Sharna Burgess from Dancing with the Stars, and Former NFL teammates danced the night away with the bride and groom.
