The Fisher’s Intercontinental Bora Bora Thalasso Resort Wedding

Jonathan and Anna’s wedding took place at the Intercontinental Bora Bora Thalasso Resort and was absolutely stunning. The bride has dreamt of a seaside wedding since she was a little girl.

When COVID hit, they had to reschedule or get married somewhere else.

From the bride: “We made the tough decision on a Wednesday, to get married that Saturday with only our parents in attendance. We couldn’t find a photographer with such short notice, so we had a friend snap a few shots.”

The couple planned to Bora Bora for their honeymoon so they got to relive their special day and take the beach photos they longed for.

The bride wore a beautiful crown made from Tahitian gardenias and palm leaves.

The bride wore three dresses.  A blush layered skirt with a full cathedral train, a white sequined dress with a high slit and open back that moved perfectly as they took photos in the water amongst the fish, and a simple, straight, lace-back dress that she wore to take photos jumping off of their bungalow.

This luxe resort is set on an islet overlooking a lagoon along the Pacific Ocean. Guests stay in overwater bungalows with gorgeous views of the turquoise lagoon and green-jagged peaks of Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu.
