Holly and Charlie’s Heritage Acres Venue Wedding

Holly and Charlie’s wedding at Heritage Acres in Clarksville, Arkansas was so pretty. The two tied the knot in July 2020. From the bride: “We wanted our day to be simple and effortless. We did not want a lot of extras that would distract from the real purpose of the wedding.”

The two originally wanted to get married on top of Petite Jean Mountain where Charlie had proposed but then came COVID.

From the bride: “Our venue is a special place the grounds are so beautiful and provided us with the perfect outdoor setting with the mountains in the distance. The style/theme, if I could sum it up in four words, would be simple, boho, garden, whimsy.”

The color scheme was blush pink, brass, orange, green, lavender, dark pink, and navy.

The bride and groom elected to have the bride’s cousin officiate and asked her Dad to pray over them while their immediate family surrounded them at the altar. That moment for them was very special.

The outdoor ceremony did not need much in terms of decorations. The venue provided white weathered church pews for guests and the couple purchased a boho-style rug for them to stand on during the ceremony.

For the reception, they utilized some of the venue’s decor. Wooden box vases with tall votive candles were placed in the center of each table with a little greenery.

From the bride: “The head table was the best part. We had a large floral arrangement that played off of my bouquet with a table runner cascading off of the front.”
