Modern Weddings is a wedding blog for couples who are planning right now. We publish real weddings from photographers and planners across the US, gift guides for everyone in the wedding, and planning advice that gets to the point.
What we publish
Real weddings. Every real wedding comes from the photographer or planner who worked it, submitted through Two Bright Lights. We write each story in our own words, quote couples only in their own words, and credit every vendor named in the submission with a link to the vendor’s own site.
Gift guides and product picks. Our editors research every pick: the retailer’s listing, sizes, return and personalization policies, and what makers and other editors say about it. We check every price and link on the date shown in each guide’s “Updated” line, and we never say we tested something unless we did.
Planning advice. Timelines, money and etiquette, written for the person doing the planning.
How we make money
Modern Weddings is free to read. When you buy through links on our site, we may earn a commission, and your price stays the same. Brands can’t pay to be included in our gift guides or roundups. Read more on our How We Make Money page and in our editorial standards.
