This 1970’s retro motel wedding venue is BRAND NEW in Thornbury, Ontario Canada.
It’s a converted 1970’s motel that is vibrant and eye-catching and equipped for a lot of fun activities.
This is really unique in Canada as the motel can easily be rented out completely to a couple’s family and friends for an elopement within its courtyard setting.
I decided to plan this knowing that it is one of the only venues in Ontario of its kind and to inspire couples to use colour and do something a bit out of the box.
That in mind, we brought in some really unique aspects to bring together this retro motel wedding with mid-century modern decor, a polka dot veil, velvet tux, peach/terracotta/teal accents, mirrored sunnies, locally made vintage rings, and a 59′ Volkswagen beetle to send them off in.
Everything about this wedding is so colorful, unique, and fun! That motel room wallpaper is to die for as well! We especially love the boho picnic setup.
