TwentyTwo Wedding Venue

TwentyTwo wedding venue is a panoramic view reception room sitting on the 22nd floor of the Westin Ottawa in Canada.

From the photographer: We arrived at The Westin Ottawa to the biggest hotel suite I have ever seen in my entire life.

There were four rooms, not including the washrooms.

Tracy already looked like a beauty sitting up in the makeup chair, as I photographed her details from the gorgeous sparkling Jimmy Choo pumps to the colorful Brooklin Paper Co. invitation suite.

Tracy put so much thought into every detail of their TwentyTwo wedding, along with Sage Designs, even down to the adorable blue cups on the table.

I laughed when her husband-to-be, Minh, came into the room and said, “Wow! When we were planning, I thought..it’s a cup…but those blue cups really do make a difference!”

Sometimes so many details of a wedding feel like that, but when it all comes together, it’s something spectacular.

From the bride: We met in 2004 at our University residence in Toronto. It was a townhouse-style residence. We both lived on the same block, he was in unit C1, and I was in unit C2. We were neighbours.

We have been engaged since Dec 31, 2017. The proposal happened after dinner on New Year’s Eve.

Prior to dinner, on our way to our parking garage in our condo building, Minh pretended that he forgot something at home and went back upstairs to get it.

I didn’t think anything of it because he really does frequently forget things.

After dinner, we went back home, and that was when Minh got down on one knee and proposed to me in front of the wall of photos he had quickly put up when he went back upstairs earlier.

It was so sweet because the photos featured us on our various travels.
