Alan and Jillian got married in July 2020 at Weatherly Farms in Maryland. It was a stunning summer wedding.
The bride and groom met on a dating app and became quickly inseparable. They fell in love over brewery tours, pizza, and Friday night music trivia. They rallied together at their favorite sporting events and made the most of their weekends exploring new cities together.
As they planned their wedding, it was important for them to find a relaxed environment where their guests could intermingle. As soon as they saw the farm, they knew it was the perfect spot for them. They couldn’t wait to get married outdoors with an ocean breeze and sunset.
They wanted to keep their décor simple with lots of greenery and fresh white flowers so that the stunning backdrop of the Potomac River could be center stage.
From the photographer: “Their day was flawless from start to finish. They were completely stress-free all morning due to the wonderful vendor team. Jillian felt like royalty in the newly remodeled bridal suite being pampered with her girls. The one moment she will never forget was finally seeing Alan as she walked down the aisle. They waited for that moment and it was completely worth it. After months of not knowing whether they would be able to have their wedding, it was very emotional for Jillian to finally live that moment.”
Alan cherishes when they shared their first dance. It was the one moment of the wedding that it felt like it was just the two of them as they danced to their favorite song. They were extremely grateful that their family and friends traveled a great distance to be with them, especially those they do not get to see often.
