Alexis and Richard’s garden wedding was like a fairytale.
The bride and groom who met through mutual friends tied the knot in February 2020.
From the planner: “Their wedding was held at Flamingo Gardens a beautiful animal sanctuary in Florida.
Alexis loves blues, grays and greens so this setting was perfect for her aesthetic! She really wanted a minimal, romantic look which I think we definitely achieved.”
From the bride: “We wanted something that was earthy, but without the standard gold tones you normally see in boho weddings and decor.
My favorite color is grey and metal is silver, so we wanted boho with that overall theme.
A simply grey wedding would be a little bland, so we incorporated neutral blues to accent. We aren’t religious people, so we didn’t incorporate any standard traditions within the wedding.
One thing that was notable, though, was my mom and dad were married by my dad’s father. We chose to be married by my husband’s grandfather. Carrying on the tradition!”
Flowers were important at this garden wedding.
From the bride: “We aimed for more of a wildflower look, lacking defined structure. The colors matched the pallet of the wedding (blues, whites, and greens).”
