Joanna and Brady got married at Sylvanside Farm in September 2020. They loved the idea of a fall wedding with romantic, muted colors. The couple was going for a soft but sophisticated style.
Saturated burgundy, pale peach, burnt orange, and creamy vanilla with dusty blue accents were curated to design an upscale fall palette.
The textiles of blue and white vintage pieces found throughout the venue’s various cottages served as inspiration when decorating for Joanna and Brady’s stunning farm wedding.
From the bride: “From the beginning, we really wanted our day to be filled with friends and family. We wanted to include them as much as possible; having friends play music, grandmothers make some of our desserts, Brady’s dad make the cross arbor, and my grandfather making the ring box. It made our wedding all the more special to have little creations from some of the most important people in our lives scattered throughout the day.”
Ceremony arrangements were reused and repurposed for the reception. Each gathering area had a unique mix of floral designs. Since the couple hosted two separate receptions during the night, the arrangements were styled to highlight each space and maintain interest as guests wandered through the spacious property.
