Cork Factory Hotel Wedding

From the bride: Our Cork Factory Hotel Wedding was far from what we originally pictured, but goodness was it more than we could have ever dreamed!
The love and incredible support from our family, friends, and vendors was absolutely contagious – we are forever grateful for such a magical day to celebrate our love!
We met through a mutual friend when we both least expected, at a local bar, enjoying a fun night and conversations over Miller Lite.  I guess you can say sometimes the unexpected moments end up being the best things for you!
Fast forward two years – the proposal was intimate,  by the Christmas tree, in our little Conshohocken apartment. I was surprised and speechless, to say the least. It was truly the happiest of moments!

We both were so nervous with anxious, overjoyed emotions, so deciding to do a first look was the perfect thing for us.

Seeing each other for the first time on our Cork Factory Hotel wedding day was such an unexplainable moment – the feeling of pure happiness and excitement but also the most incredible, calming, overwhelming feeling of love.

This made the walk down the aisle even more special, both even more eager to tie to knot!

Seeing the video and photography our videographer, Dan Stenson, and photographers, from Laurel Creative, captured of this moment instantly makes our hearts happy…. not to mention all the other special moments throughout the day- too many to count!

We went with a soft and simple color palette – with a mix of white, greens, grey, and a hint of blue. For the space, the Cork Factory team rallied and created such a beautiful outdoor area – Shoutout to Abby, Jenny, and the entire CF team!!

For florals, we wanted to focus on one key hanging piece to tie the ceremony and reception together. When explaining our backdrop vision to our florist, we were so thrilled about how excited and eager she was to make it happen…and YES, she did!  I cannot rave enough about Stacia, from Petals with Style – She blew us away with her incredible attention to detail, beautiful arrangements and the extra touches!

Nick opted for custom suits over a tux and let the groomsmen and fathers pick their lining, making for a fun personal touch! We went with a classic grey + navy ties.  Nick went for a silver tie, with a golden snitch tie clip (Harry Potter reference!).  For the ladies, we went with soft flowy, whisper blue dresses – To tie back to my flowy ballgown.

We know people say it, but this held true for us: Take a moment to really take it all in – Take a moment, look around and feel all the love surrounding you
