Bryan and Kevin were less than a week away from saying “I Do” at the Cescaphe Event Group’s ballroom with 250 guests in March when Philadelphia shut down due to the COVID-19 crisis.
They tied the knot in October under a tent with 65 guests. From the event planner: “Even with all the changes, these two have navigated everything with both style and grace, and their wedding was ultimately the perfectly chic, perfectly Philadelphian, wedding of their dreams.”
From the groom: “For our wedding, we wanted to have a classic black tie affair. The teams at Cescaphe and Olive Street Events worked to create a stunning outdoor black tie event. Our color palette of white with accents of gold and blush created the perfect mood for an elegant affair.”
Kevin’s mother, Judy, gave a beautiful blessing over the dinner. Bryan wore his grandfather’s wedding ring pinned to the inside of his jacket.
The grooms wanted their wedding decor to be classic and elegant. Due to the pandemic they had to have their wedding outside. The ceremony took place under a gazebo on the river. They draped white chiffon and accented it with bouquets of white and pink roses and trailing greenery.
The reception was held in a tented space, draped with chiffon underset with twinkling lights. Three large crystal chandeliers decorated with trailing greens were hung over tables set with tall bouquets of white flowers, accented with blush roses and eucalyptus.
The four-tiered wedding cake was pure white, accented with a glittering gold top, gold fondant bowtie, and the Philadelphia skyline piped in gold.
