From the Bride on her Willow Creek Ranch wedding:
For me, it has always been my dream to be a professional artist of some kind. Since I was a child I had a love for paper, odd, I know! I was always making cards, cutting, ripping, scrapbooking, gluing paper.
It was a surreal experience creating my own wedding invitations. To see my own name on the invitations as I was printing them on my beloved letterpress was a trip!
I knew I wanted to include an illustrated map with my suite because they are one of my favorite pieces to create for any couple. I love using them to tell each couple’s love story.
For Grant and I, I included Illustrations, of our church where we met, the restaurant where we had our first date, and a few other locations that were significant to us. I also knew that I wanted to include tassels and of course Letterpress print the whole suite!
We were married at a lovely outdoor venue in Southern California surrounded by olive trees so olive branch illustrations were sprinkled throughout the suite. Each envelope was hand addressed in white calligraphy.
Creating our wedding stationery was a labor of love.
