The gorgeous tropical atmosphere of Xcaret Park in Playa del Carmen created a beautiful backdrop for Vanessa & Nicholas’ tropical Catholic wedding.
The church had a natural element to it, with a large tree showing roots in the front of the chapel. Before entering the church, guests passed through the doors which were draped in a bright floral garland. As the ceremony started, the bride walked down the steps, which were anchored with glowing candles along the aisle. Bright pink and purple rose petals decorated the altar. Not that this tropical church needed any additional decor, but those personal touches made it their own tropical Catholic wedding.
From the photographer: We enjoyed an original destination wedding with Vanessa & Nicholas at the magical Xcaret eco park in Playa Del Carmen. No other venue could be so amazing: tropical jungle, surrounded by a paradisiacal nature, lagoons, cenotes and typical animals of the Caribbean! The big moment was close and everything was ready to start the ceremony. In the middle of this incredible place, an atypical but beautiful church, our handsome Nicholas was waiting for her fiancé. Surrounded by the loving sights of their friends and familiars, the lovely couple sealed their love in a touched Catholic ceremony. Love, joy, and happiness from the guests filled the air during this unforgettable moment. Under the Mariachi rhythm, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed an amazing cocktail and gave to us a bunch of incredible images full of traditions!
