Our vision for our Valley of Fire State Park wedding was “till death” so like a spooky summer vibe. Warm tones contrasting with our dark outfits. Our wedding colors were black, blood red, and plum with small hints of white.
I got my dress for $50 bucks at Macy’s (not typically my favorite place to shop but I figured might as well try) while being extremely pregnant I thought it would be a lot harder to find something that fit but they had lots of black dresses to choose from.
My veil was white with black lace trim It was from an Etsy shop ( @mibridalveil ) I got the longest option to enhance the length of my dress. I dressed the dress up with my great-grandmother’s pearls and the “Devon heart” doc martens.
Alex got his suit from men’s wear house. His coat was silk and matte paisley with a white shirt to match my white veil and he tied it all together with a blood red bow tie and pocket handkerchief.
Alex and I met almost two years ago. We fell in love almost instantly. We lived about an hour away from each other and honestly we couldn’t stay away from each other so I moved down to stay with him and our two dogs Bentley (a Rottweiler) and Koda (a French bulldog).
Now fast forward to this year we are almost 9 months pregnant with a beautiful blessing of a baby girl and couldn’t be more in love.
Our advice for any couple is don’t compromise yourself for the person you love. The right one will enter your life when you are ready and you will never turn back.
