From the photographer: This sweet couple hired me as both their event planner and photographer for their Under Canvas Moab wedding.
(I offer both services with my business, but not usually at the same time. Since this was only a 20-person elopement and it was spread out over 4 days, I knew it would be relaxed enough that I would be able to do both.)
They didn’t want to deal with the hubbub of a full-blown wedding day, so they decided to invite 20 of their closest friends and family to the deserts of Utah for a weekend full of cookouts, canoeing, and more love than they ever knew was possible.
We started the weekend on Friday with a cookout and drinks around the fire pit.
On Saturday we all went rafting on the Colorado River and then had the rehearsal dinner that night.
Sunday was spent slowly and sweetly; brunch was catered that morning, and then we all got to work DIYing the bride’s vision for the reception space.
Then it was time for the ceremony, followed by a gorgeous sunset reception that lasted well into the night.
The next morning I went with the newlyweds to Arches National Park where they got dressed up again to take couples portraits in the stunning desert colors before flying back home that afternoon.
