The historic venue, which used to be an old bank, was a unique backdrop for Tammie & Chris’ gray urban wedding.
After their ceremony at Rosewood Baptist Church, guests migrated over to 1208 Washington Place where the reception was held. The venue still has the 1920s vaults, was a perfect space for photo ops. The little alcoves like the vault and the library with fireplace allowed guests to relax away from the crowds and the alleyway even served as a cigar bar and cozy smoking area. Reception tables were draped in gray linens with a greenery garland table runner.
From the photographer: The bride and groom wanted to mingle with their guests during cocktail hour so we did a first look at the church before the ceremony to take all the family photos ahead of time! One of my favorite details was the decorative uplighting by Ambient Media. The floral look on the ceiling added such a refined, up-scale ambiance to the room.
