I’ve been wanting to photograph at the Surf Hotel wedding venue in Buena Vista since I saw that it had opened to weddings, and I’m so glad I got the opportunity to this time around.
I can’t wait for future wedding seasons at this totally unique mountain venue.

Evan and Lisa are a couple of the most stylish people I’ve ever photographed, and they chose to marry at Surf, which, I must say, matched their funky style perfectly.
The color palette of their outfits, accessories, florals, and decorations was all green, brown, and orange- perfect for their September wedding.
The personal touches of their wedding was really what pulled everything together.
Their florals featured hawk feathers, because Evan’s dad is a hawk tamer.
There were event posters all over the venue featuring their names and date, because the Surf Hotel is a music venue.
As well as Lisa’s dress (that she found last minute at Anna bé in Denver) all just showed off their personalities so well.
