Elegant gold decor made the stunning venue sparkle for Shannyn & Mitchell’s classic St. Louis wedding last year.
From the bride: Mitchell and I were both born and raised in St. Louis and love everything about our hometown. We had a lot of friends and family coming in from out of town so we wanted our wedding to be classic St. Louis to show off the city. Our ceremony took place at the World’s Fair Pavilion & the reception was held at Union Station. In between the ceremony and reception, though, we had a happy hour hosted at Ballpark Village & gave people recommendations for things to do all around St. Louis. We wanted to venues to speak for themselves so we stuck with a very clean color palette of cream & gold.
From the photographer: These high school sweet hearts (when they really got serious) chose a classic and neutral color palate glittered with gold and iconic St. Louis history. So many personal details went into this day including a signature drink made with basil (the father of the bride’s name), monobotanical bouquets for each bridesmaids with tags that read the meaning of each flower, marriage advice from both dads during the ceremony (not a dry eye in the audience), a first look at the ceremony, pancakes served as a late night snack because its a favorite childhood treat, birthday cakes delivered to celebrate guest’s special days, and with a last name like Hanson, the grand entrance song was of course MMMM Bop.
