Maya + Sam’s vision for their wedding photos was perfectly aligned with my photography style and it was such a dream, they love all that blurry, bright, grainy, filmy, vibey stuff that I do! Their wedding day was so gorgeous; as a San Diego temple wedding it of course started out with shooting in a direct harsh light at noon at the temple – and we all absolutely nailed it. They survived the heat of the summer 100-degree sunshine!
After some time at the temple, Maya and Sam had their ring ceremony and reception in a beautiful backyard wedding. Personally, one of my favorite consequences of Covid in the wedding world has been the number of backyard weddings that have been popping up – they are so intimate and gorgeous.
What surprised me about this specific backyard wedding though… was how HARD they went at the party/dance floor. It was such a fun party; their people were ready to celebrate them, and celebrate WELL! It was a perfect day, and I was so honored to be the one to capture it.
