The dazzling venue with sparkling chandeliers created the perfect setting for Ruth-Anne & Andrew’s elegant ballroom wedding.
The bride’s stunning gown gave a classic feel to the affair. Her bouquet was a mixture of white and blush pink flowers, a nod to an elegant ballroom wedding. For the ceremony, guests sat in banquet chairs that were clad in a white chair cover and simply tied with a soft pink sash. After the ceremony, the room was flipped to the reception space. A wall of uplit white chiffon draping served as the backdrop for the head table. The head table was draped in a premier white linen with alternating high and low centerpieces.
From the photographer: The first look was scheduled to take place at the Canadian War Museum. Ruth-Anne looked radiant and Andrew’s expression said it all when he turned around to gaze at her. A moment between the two of them was exchanged so they could admire each other. The architecture in the War Museum complimented the color Ruth-Anne and Andrew had chosen for their wedding. When the rain stopped, we took advantage of the extra time to make a stop at Tabaret Hall at Ottawa University to capture more photos of Ruth-Anne & Andrew as well as the wedding party.
