From the photographer: I have so many favorite memories from Leslie and Austin’s Rolling Rails Lodge wedding day! I think topping that list might be the first look shared between Leslie and Austin.
The anticipation was palpable! And then the nerves immediately got replaced with excitement. The look on their faces as they really took in one another. The kiss. The warm embrace. And then for a split second, there’s a bashful look as if they’re teenagers falling in love for the first time.
Another favorite memory was when I began swelling with pride the moment they said “I do”. It’s pretty uncanny, actually. I’m not related to Leslie or Austin. And yet I felt like cheering at the top of my lungs when they finally tied the knot.
Perhaps because I’m aware of how tough it has been to postpone a wedding and to plan it amidst uncertainties. These two not only survived the COVID ordeal, but thrived. And Austin’s reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle? A healthy mix of pride, joy, and love. Oh, I couldn’t be happier for these two!
And it’s not just a world for two. Leslie and Austin value their family and friendships so much. You can see the jolting energy during the reception. Their faces lit up as they hugged loved ones on the dance floor. And they really know how to throw a party.
The Rolling Rails Lodge wedding reception was a lot of fun and carried so much meaning. Gwen (twin sister and maid-of-honor) gave a touching toast – not a dry eye in the room!
