A rustic venue with heirloom touches was the perfect setting for Rebecca & Ben’s vintage ranch wedding in Sedalia, Missouri.
The couple tied the knot outdoors. A tree was decorated with family photos to represent a family tree for this vintage ranch wedding. Festoon lights decorated the inside of the barn.
From the photographer: From the start, Benjamin and Rebecca envisioned their day steeped in heritage and tradition. This starts with the love and nostalgia the couple feels for their family. The Bride, in remembrance of her grandmother, wore a blue stone antique ring, an heirloom that was one of her most cherished possessions. This complemented the art deco engagement ring previously owned by Benjamin’s great, great Aunt. In the decor, they included a “Family Tree” filled with photos of their relatives dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The tables were adorned with soft lace table runners and covered with an assortment of lush, romantic blooms, old books, candelabras, and even love notes the couple wrote to each other throughout the years. The eclectic mix of china patterns, gold-toned flatware, and miss-matched colored glasses used were gifts passed down through the years or sourced by scouring flea markets and antique stores.
