Ravenswood Historic Site

Surrounded by their family, friends, and a bridal party of THIRTY, Kayla and Justin tied the knot at Ravenswood Historic Site located in Livermore California!

This dusty blue and navy wedding was beyond romantic and dreamy. It was a day filled with detail, laughter, and love!

Let’s talk wedding decor. How did you decorate your space for the ceremony and the reception?
Everything we decorated was DIY and I had lots of help along the way. We created our signs, floral centerpieces, floral lanterns, cornhole designs, flower swags, guest book, and so much more.

We did this because we wanted to stick to our budget and not spending thousands of dollars on one day. It still looked very beautiful with lots of personal touches from us and our family/friends.

What was the most anticipated or special moment of your wedding day?
The most special moment to me was walking down the aisle and seeing Justin’s reaction. He told me so many times that he wouldn’t cry but the minute I got to the end of the aisle, he couldn’t contain it anymore and burst into tears. It was so pure and filled me up with so much joy and excitement.

Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
Wedding planning can be hard but staying organized is key to not get too overwhelmed. Ask for help when you need it and remain calm. You get to marry the love of your life!!!!
