Raquel & Brandon’s modern Chicago wedding took place in the heart of the city and included simple, modern decor.
Upon entering the reception, guests found a marble tile with their name and table number assignment. Similar tiles were used as table numbers on the reception tables. Simple gold geometric vases held flowers and cards on the entry table. Soft ivory and blush flowers were paired with greenery to decorate the urban space of City View Loft. The bride’s mom created an origami crane backdrop for the couple’s modern Chicago wedding.
From the bride: We wanted our wedding to reflect our personalities, while also highlighting the city we love. With incredible skyline views and a unique urban loft feel, City View Loft was the perfect venue to accomplish both goals. Upwards of 85 out-of-town guests, coupled with dozens of locals, ended the night singing “Sweet Home Chicago” and snapping moonlit photos of the Chicago cityscape. The natural beauty of the venue eliminated the need for elaborate decorations, but some simple and elegant additions added to the overall decor.
