Quail Ranch Wedding

QUAIL RANCH WEDDING:

Celia and Jake are high school sweethearts and have looked forward to getting married for many years.

They love nature and the outdoors and wanted a lush garden-style wedding. It was important for them to have a Jewish ceremony with traditional elements mixed with modern interpretations.

Quail Ranch is a family owned and operated avocado ranch located just outside of Los Angeles in Ventura County, in the city of Simi Valley.  A flourishing avocado orchard and a variety of citrus are planted alongside towering pines and majestic oak trees.

They were married under her grandfather’s tallit as their chuppah and used his father’s tallit during the ceremony.

They used her grandmother’s wedding ring during their vows and danced their first dance to his grandmother singing “You’re Just Too Good To Be True.”

They also celebrated Celia’s half-Mexican heritage with traditional Mexican guitar and churros.

Though their pup, Glitch, could not attend, he took pictures with the couple and was represented as a figurine on their cake.

He also “hosted” their biscuit bar that served cookies for their guests, and dog biscuits to take home as favors.
