Avery and Brandon decided to get married in the incredibly lavish, Olana wedding venue just outside of Dallas, TX!
In a pre-COVID world, it was a thrill to celebrate with them on such a grand scale!
It was full of heart as much as it was full of beauty.
I’d go back again and again!
From the bride: Brandon and I met at a coffee shop in DFW!
He works there and I was a regular.
Eventually, we started dating and I ended up working there about three years later he proposed at that same coffee shop! It was really intimate and sweet!
My wedding was black-tie-inspired.
I wanted everyone to feel like they were going to the Emmys or an award show.
The color schemes were neutrals, gold, and green.
We didn’t have a lot of decour because Olana wedding venue is very extravagant.
We had a lot of candles, votives, chargers, floral, and some pictures & signs.
A lot of it was DIY…our centerpieces were small cakes with cake stands that we brought in.
The pampas grass we picked ourselves.
The flowers were very simplistic- white, green, and sage.
My wedding day look was pretty simple… I didn’t want it to be too overdone.
My dress was sparkly and a low back cut.
My husband & the groomsmen were all in black-tie attire!
The most special moment was probably the ceremony.
Actually getting to make a commitment with someone and in front of so many people was such a wonderful/memorable experience.
And then, of course, the dance party.
My favorite part was just getting to dance with family and friends and celebrate finally being married to my best friend.
