Nicole & Stephen’s rustic modern wedding was held at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs, Texas in September.
Stationery was kept simple for this rustic modern wedding. The couple’s hashtag was #TwoWongsMakeARight. Light greenery decorated the modern arch for the indoor ceremony. Geometric vases were used as centerpieces for this rustic modern wedding. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for a sundae bar.
How they met: Nicole first met Stephen a few months after she had moved to Austin in 2013. They were both floating the Comal River with a large group of friends. Nicole only met Stephen briefly but she remembers him easily because he was the loud one. As time passed, they crossed paths at mutual friend gatherings. September 2015, they ran into each other at a friend’s birthday party at Ego’s Karaoke. They bonded over their mutual love of karaoke and planned to sing a duet in the near future. They started talking more frequently and the acquaintances soon became friends. During that time, Nicole invited Stephen to join her for happy hour oysters and he happily accepted. They met up and talked for hours and closed the restaurant down. The next week Stephen asked Nicole out on a date.
