The cascading oak trees provides the perfect setting for Megan & Patrick’s outdoor southern wedding in South Carolina.
White folding chairs were staged in a grove of oak trees for the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests moved under a tent for the reception. Lilac linens topped guest tables for this outdoor southern wedding. Centerpieces were a bundle of spring flowers that had a hand-picked feel to them. The clear tent allowed the surrounding natural elements to continue being part of the wedding.
From the photographer: Patrick & Megan had 130 of their closest friends and family travel from all over the world to be at there wedding. The days leading up to the day were overcast and rainy. So, at the last minute they initiated their Plan B for rain. However, the morning of the wedding, they had blue skies and beautiful big puffy white clouds. It was the most beautiful day, not to mention the gorgeous sunset over the marsh and the flying V of geese overhead as the couple had their first dance. Patrick and Megan wrote their own vows and there wasn’t a dry eye. It was the most perfect day.
