Marissa and Connor’s De Pere Celebration

Connor and Marissa’s De Pere celebration was nothing short of beautiful. the bride and groom met through Marissa’s sister. Her sister was working with Connor at the time as an EMT Paramedic and she always seemed to forget her lunch. So Marissa being the nice sister she is, would drop her sister’s lunch off at work. After a few months of that happening, Marissa’s sister finally set the two up on a date and as luck, would have it, it was a match made it heaven.

In regards to the inspiration behind their De Pere celebration, the bride said: “My husband and I love the feel of traditional weddings so we knew that ours needed to be a traditional catholic mass, small and intimate. We didn’t have a specific theme, but our color palette involved mauve and greenery with accents of gold. Our whole day was centered around “letting love grow” which is why we had succulents in all the bouquets that could be pulled out after the wedding and planted to serve as lasting memories from our big day!”

The couple incorporated succulents throughout their whole day. From the bride: “It was so special to us that we were able to incorporate succulents into our bouquets and boutonnieres because those are things we will be able to keep for a long time as wonderful memories from our special day. Each guest was also given a succulent to take home so they too could remember our big day.”
