Maggie & Jeff’s Polish purple wedding was held at a church and a banquet hall in Kildeer, Illinois last fall.
The aisle for the ceremony was lined with oversized white and purple floral arrangements. Bridesmaids wore floor-length lilac gowns for this Polish purple wedding. At the reception venue, the hall was filled with purple uplights, transforming the space. Purple and white flowers cascaded down the five tier cake.
From the photographer: Maggie incorporated much of her Catholic Polish heritage into her wedding day. With a ceremony at her home prior to the wedding, where her Priest prayed over her and family members blessed her – it was an emotional moment for all. Three priests performed the ceremony, and following that, the reception was held at the Concorde Banquet hall, where the couple greeted all their guests upon their arrival. The dessert table was filled with many polish desserts, and a live Polish band kept the party going all night long.
