Madison and Ashton’s Outer Banks wedding was gorgeous. They opted to do an indoor ceremony and reception due to the cool March breeze, but still took some portraits and a first look outdoors on the beach. A soft, airy room adorned with white florals was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Ashton’s dad passed away a few years prior to their ceremony. He was a fan of payday candy. To honor him during the ceremony, the bride and groom left one on each chair. Debbie, their wedding planner, said she felt chills as she set them out that day, just knowing somehow he was looking down on their beautiful day. After they became husband and wife, their guests made their way over to cocktail hour in the pavilion where they watched a stunning sunset on the sound right from their tables.
The highlight of the Outer Banks wedding was the mother/son dance that broke out into a dance! It definitely made for some laughs by all! It was a beautiful evening surrounded by all of their favorite people in one of their favorite places, the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
