Kirsten and Matt’s Mackinac Island Wedding

Kirsten and Matt met in college and chose Mackinac Island for their wedding. They tied the knot on a gorgeous summer day in August 2018.

They knew the first time that they visited Mission Point Resort that it was the perfect spot for their celebration. The island is unique, no cars are allowed, and has so many beautiful spots!

Their special day was full of personal touches.

The couple loves donuts and made sure to have a donut tower at their reception.

The new husband and wife traded vows in a lush garden after seeing another wedding there a few years earlier.

Part of the beauty of a Mackinac Island wedding is there are absolutely no cars allowed!

The bride and groom had a large bridal party of 15 people. It made for some fun pictures around Mackinac Island on foot, in a carriage, and on bikes!

We love these gold script table numbers!

The decor for their wedding was simple and timeless. Elegant greenery perfectly contrasted the white florals and gold decor. Blush pink napkins provided a subtle pop of color in the light and airy space.
