The bride on her Luxurious Elopement in Las Vegas: THE PROPOSAL: It happened on July 3rd, 2021, at a local garden center near where we live. Josh had hired a picnic company to set up a beautiful and private picnic for us under one of the gardens’ pergolas. He had asked his sister-in-law to take photos of the whole proposal AND arranged an entire party with all our closest friends and family to celebrate afterwards! I couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect!
THE VISION: I had always known that I wanted my wedding to be lots of natural and earthy vibes, but honestly didn’t know where to start. We live in Florida so when you think of an outdoorsy wedding you think of the beach and that wasn’t really what I wanted. We see the beach every single day and I wanted something spectacular and out of the ordinary for us.
I’d come across Elopement Las Vegas while doing research on some locations and once I saw the Red Rock Canyon, I couldn’t think of anywhere else I wanted to get married. When I saw those mountains, I fell in love with the location and immediately emailed ELV to move forward.
Josh and I had always joked about just running off to Vegas and eloping with Elvis but realistically we didn’t want to get married without having our closest loved ones with us. So, between the gorgeous scenery, no stress wedding planning, and having our family there to celebrate with us we looked no further.
THE PLANNING PROCESS: The planning process was an absolute breeze. Emily and her team of ladies made everything so easy and stress free. Before I booked with them, I had started to plan and research vendors and venues and quickly discovered how stressful wedding planning is. I am not organized enough or have the patience for any of it.
Once ELV had everything they needed from me they took care of EVERYTHING. Anytime I had a question about anything she was always available and ready to answer. It was very nice not having to constantly worry about the details of everything.
We enjoyed our time being engaged and the excitement of it all. We got to look forward to our big day without all the drama and debt that comes along with planning a wedding yourself.
YOUR OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES: My wedding dress was from Aurora Bridal in Melbourne FL and my shoes were Gianni Bini. I don’t typically wear a lot of accessories, so I kept it pretty simple with just a couple pieces. My mother had gifted me blue Sapphire earrings because I wanted them to be my “something blue”. I also wore a watch that was my mother-in-law’s, it was given to her by her mother. I wore it as my “something borrowed” and “something old”. And then of course my engagement ring which is from Victoria Jeweler’s in Orlando FL.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS: There are too many amazing moments for me to list. I’d definitely say that the most memorable for me was after we said, “I do” and we walked back down the aisle and the officiant announced us as Mr. & Mrs. it was kind of a moment of realization to us both like “holy crap, we’re actually married!”. It was just such a surreal moment.
ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES: My advice for any couples considering eloping or having a small intimate wedding DO IT! Getting married is about you and the person you love promising forever together, and that’s it. Best decision we ever made!
