Julie and Zach met through mutual friends, live in Boston, MA, and were married at Lord Thompson Manor Wedding venue in Connecticut.
After the utmost caution, Julie and Zach chose to stick with their original wedding date (October 31, 2020).
As a result of the ongoing pandemic, the couple chose to have a smaller celebration and an outdoor ceremony despite the snow.
All guests tested negative and quarantined prior to the event. There were also temperature checks at the entrance and sanitizing stations scattered throughout the manor.
Their date was always going to be on Halloween but the couple opted for a more classic and timeless style, though the groom did opt for festive skeleton socks.
The bride wore a strapless, minimalist, fit and flair gown and the groom wore classic black tuxedo.
The wedding party all wore black and accessorized with a traditional plaid shawl.
The couple also overcame an untimely snowstorm the day before their wedding which caused many challenges (loss of power and no running water at Lord Thompson Manor Wedding venue), but all was resolved just an hour before the first look and guest arrivals.
