The original plan was to have a big wedding day at the Lizton Lodge wedding venue with 100 guests and a reception. But due to covid concerns, they decided to forgo the big reception right now and scale down to just immediate family.
They an intimate ceremony, still at Lizton Lodge, and plan to celebrate with a reception and their original guests in April 2022. They were sure to not leave out their adorable pup, WallE, though at the ceremony!
Devon & Andrew first met when Andrew was Devon’s server at Bdub’s, he asked her out on the first date then she asked him on a second, they’ve been together ever since!
The day of the wedding, April 24th, 2021, it was a cool spring afternoon with a bit of a drizzle outside. It had actually snowed quite a bit this way just a few days prior to the wedding day, but somehow we still got lucky and had some beautiful spring blooming trees and the light rain did not bother us at all!
Lizton Lodge is a stunning, upscale venue in Lizton, Indiana. My first time shooting here and it did not disappoint. This venue really reminds me of a small scale Biltmore Mansion!
They had their ceremony indoors due to the cool weather, but that was no issue at all given how beautiful the indoor ceremony space was! All white with a gorgeous chandelier and some natural lighting…you really can’t ask for a better indoor backup space.
I could have spent all day taking pictures around the outdoor grounds because there is just SO much. We did their first look on the porch then ventured out around the front of the venue for bride/groom + bridal party shots. So happy with the photos we were able to capture for Devon & Andrew.
These two are celebrating their honeymoon with a bucket list Route 66 roadtrip to Arizona this week! SO jealous!
