Lisa and Shelley had an exquisitely romantic and intimate waterfront wedding in Oahu, HI. The two brides eloped on the shores of Papa’iloa Beach, where white sands met the ocean in a rocky embankment wrapped in gorgeous green algae.
The couple looked over-the-moon and so in love during their waterfront wedding. They were definitely in their happy place. Their dresses perfectly complemented each other, just like they do in real life. From the photographer: “As beautiful as the Hawaii backdrop was, it couldn’t outshine the love shared between this gorgeous couple! Lisa and Shelley wore gowns that echoed the sea in luscious ripples and sweetheart cuts. Kahu Kawena officiated the ceremony using traditional Hawaiian elements like the sacred water blessing and the blowing of the conch shell. The day was flooded with soft and magical lighting that perfectly encapsulated this couple’s glowing love. During a special moment in Lisa and Shelley’s vow exchange, they leaned together and touched foreheads as the Oahu sun radiated between them. This elopement is what Hawaii destination wedding dreams are made of, a fairytale start to what’s bound to be a fairytale marriage.”
