Dan and Nicole got engaged on August 24, 2019.
They live in the DC area but decided to have their wedding in Virginia Beach because they wanted a waterfront wedding!
Dan and Nicole first began planning their wedding for 170 guests in 2019. However, by 2020 the virus began to spread and our governor had to limit social gatherings to 25 people.
With this change in gathering announced only one week from their wedding day, Nicole and Dan now had to make the tough decision of either transferring or canceling altogether.
However, they had been waiting for this day for more than a year and their love for each other couldn’t wait any longer.
So Dan and Nicole decided with the help of the Lesner Inn, Kelly Gish Florals, and Cat DeLine Photography to create the first micro-wedding at the Lesner Inn!
On November 21, 2020, 25 guests made up entirely of their bridal party and parents arrived for their intimate wedding on the Sunset Deck.
Under the blue skies of Virginia Beach, Dan & Nicole finally said I Do.
This was followed by a night of love, laughter, and happily ever after!
