Lavender Elopement in Portland

Lavender Elopement in Portland: During July in Oregon is when the lavender fields are in full bloom.

We are blessed with many local farms in the Portland, Oregon area to serve as lush backdrops for weddings and intimate elopements.

Inspired by the lavender colors, I wanted to show how couples could use these natural beauties for an elopement.

To complement the laid-back vibe of an elopement, I wanted my bridal model to wear an elegant satin gown that was attainable to those couples wanting an elegant, yet simple ceremony.

Stephanie is wearing an ivory gown from Fame and Partners. This lavender elopement in Portland included beautiful flowers from Caroline Reusen Flowers and a gorgeous invitation suite from Shine Wedding Invitations.

Another simple and unique touch to this elopement shoot was an Akoya Pearl vintage-style engagement ring from Shane Co.

From Photography Avec Meg: My work is inspired by the places I’ve lived and traveled including the light and airy environment of the Oregon Coast to the chic and vibrant streets of Paris.

I was fortunate to grow up in one of the most beautiful places on the Oregon Coast, in the quaint town of Newport, where I realized how artistically inspiring my surroundings were.

I use natural light, incredible scenery, and the personalities of my subjects to document portraits, engagements, elopements, and fashion photography.
