Lauxmont Farms Wedding

Kayla and Jake’s dusty blue, whimsical, mountain wedding was stunning. They fell head-over-heels with the fairytale feel and spectacular views of the beautiful Sunken Garden at Lauxmont Farms wedding venue.

From the photographer:

As I twist and weave through the Pennsylvania mountainside, I am mesmerized by the thick, dream-like fog that blankets the ground.

The weather outside is one of those misty mornings where the dewdrops trap themselves in the fog clouds and linger around all day.

But the weather doesn’t matter, because today Kayla and Jake are renewing their vows in the beautiful Sunken Garden at Lauxmont Farms wedding venue!

Due to Covid, Kayla and Jake actually tied the knot in a very intimate ceremony earlier this year, but they wanted to make sure they were able to celebrate with all of their friends and family.

Round two was just as sweet as the first. Getting to celebrate all over again with this amazing family was a complete honor.

For Kayla, it was easy to imagine herself descending down the flagstone steps to meet her groom and guest around the lily pond, and partying the night away under the elegant tent with river backdrops.

Not wanting to take away from their venue’s natural beauty, they kept their wedding palette light and natural.

Working in the calming, soft shades of whites, blues, pastel pinks, greys, and greens brought everything together.

Accents of gold and mixed antique pieces sprinkled in some vintage aesthetic throughout the venue.

Echoing the old world charm of the property evoked an understated sense of refined elegance and luxury

Kayla and Jake’s day was beautiful From start to finish.

They first stole a few precious moments to themselves before the ceremony for a first touch and prayer around the amazing 1920s swimming pool.

Kayla and Jake’s ceremony was full of wonderful little memories.

Jake’s reaction to seeing Kayla walk down the aisle was priceless. He laughed, cried, buckled at the knees, and everything in-between.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house during their vow exchange as they shared personal stories of struggle and growth.

Standing amongst the ancient trees surrounded by friends and family, Kayla and Jake’s ceremony was picture perfect.

The day was so full of love and joy. Watching these two tie the knot all over again with the same passion, emotion, and love is something I will never forget.

Kayla and Jake have already been through so much.

But within the darkness, there is always light, and I am excited to say that these two are expecting their beautiful, rainbow baby girl next year!

I am so happy for you two and I can’t wait to see what your future holds.
