Lauren & Mark’s earthy wedding was set outdoors at a private residence in Ohio.
The couple’s ceremony included a tree planting aspect, showing the unity of the two. Upon moving to the reception area, guests’ tables were simply clad in smaller trees, continuing the earthy wedding theme. The couple also incorporated some trendy elements including a doughnut tower in lieu of a groom’s cake and dreamcatchers as decor. The couple wanted a simple, easy and enjoyable wedding, which they acheived with the neautral tones and backdrop of this earthy wedding.
From the bride: My favorite memory from the day was our first look. The anxiety and anticipation of the whole morning just disappeared when I saw him standing out in the yard with his back to me. The walk up to him lasted forever because I was so excited to see him again. When he turned around, he had a sparkle in his eye and a look of sheer joy on his face. Nothing ever felt so right.
