Combining two of the couple’s favorite things, Lauren & Juan’s nautical superhero wedding took place at The Sterling Ballroom at DoubleTree by Hilton.
From the photographer: To combine the interests of the bride and groom, they had two themes for their wedding. The invitations and the front of cake revolved around anchors which symbolizes strength, Juan was in the Navy and they both like going out on the boat. The second theme revolved around superheros, where the back of the wedding cake was decorated with the Captain America and Wonder Woman symbol and the cake topper was superheroes as well. The groom and groomsmen all had superhero themed cuff links.
From the bride: The place card holders at the venue were DIY, cork base where we wrote our names and the date of the wedding on them. During the cake cutting the children were given masks to wear as if they were superheros. Even with being nervous walking down the aisle or saying our vows those two moments were two of the best parts of the day. Taking pictures at the beach was amazing, especially since we had beautiful weather. Then once at the venue the food was delicious, the wedding cake looked amazing, and our first dance was perfect. The time went extremely fast and we wish we could live that day all over again.
