Lauren and Will’s backyard wedding in Freehold, New Jersey was very intimate and romantic. They personalized and decorated their backyard for their wedding ceremony and celebration. They wanted white decorations with plenty of greenery.
The decor was kept simple. From the bride: “I love a clean, all-white look for my flowers, however I did add some pink this year to complement my pink shoes!”
A personal touch for their special day was “The Howarth’s” sign that their family surprised them with. It was the perfect back drop for photos!
The bride is a huge sprinkle lover and wanted a sprinkle-covered cake. Definitely another personalized touch!
The bride wore a white silk slip dress with pink Loeffer Randall block heels. She was going for a chic yet romantic look and something different from her wedding dress for the big reception next year!
The groom wanted something different as well, choosing light tan pants, a crisp white shirt, and patterned navy blue blazer.
From the bride: “The most special (and unexpected) part of our wedding day was how intimate it was. Since we had to postpone our big reception, we made the decision to have just our immediate families and best men/MOHs for this year’s backyard ceremony. As hard of a decision it was to make and as much as we wish we would have been able to have everyone, it was really so nice to have a special day with just a small circle of people.”
