Katie and Tanner were married in an intimate, Lake Chatuge Wedding last summer.
They originally had planned their wedding for March 2020, but we were all blindsided and everything shut down.
We all thought the pandemic would be over after Summer, so they made the difficult decision to postpone their wedding to August.
As their second date grew closer, it was clear that COVID was still very much a threat, and they just wanted to be married.
Along with the help of their incredible vendor team, Katie and Tanner celebrated their marriage in the sweetest, Lake Chatuge wedding surrounded by close family in Georgia.
With an abundance of wildflower and colorful runners, their ceremony fit them perfectly.
Together, Luxe and Bloom, Crush Event Rentals, and Ellen Thomas Events created an amazing reception space for the newlyweds to share their first dance together.
I loved that they danced to Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” and they made sure to get into the song, which was SO cute.
After dinner, their family members shared a toast filled with sweet memories and laughs.
The entire night was filled with cocktails, delicious BBQ, cake, and yard games!
It was so wonderful to see how perfectly the entire day came together for this beautiful couple.
