Laguna Beach Wedding

THE VISION FOR YOUR LAGUNA BEACH WEDDING:

The vision we were looking for was a mix of boho and modern.

THE PROPOSAL:

We had a weekend trip to Mammoth to be with family. I ended up taking a nap on the boat and he surprised me by putting the ring on the end of the fishing line. The ring was tapping my face to wake me up and I had no clue what was happening. I turned towards him and he was on his knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!

THE PLANNING PROCESS:

We won our elopement, so the planning process had to do with check lists of gathering the proper documents and ensuring we were gonna have everything we need and wanted. We made goals to get certain items and made a game plan on when to get things done by and for the day of.

YOUR OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES

Surprisingly out of all the places I ordered dresses from, I went with a dress from Amazon! There wasn’t really a budget in mind when looking but I can’t believe the dress fitted and looked how I wanted it to be. I was able to hide my mom belly while still feeling beautiful and not covered in so much material. It was a a nice ball gown Cinderella type dress with a slit at the right leg.

My husband got his outfit from Banana Republic, most dress pants fit him best from there without any additional alterations so we just needed to find the right color he’d prefer.

My son’s outfit was from H&M, their selection for kids’ dress attire was better than we expected. Any additional accessories we had like bow ties from Amazon and shoes we already had. The necklace I wore was a gift from my husband from last Christmas along with a charm his mom got me.

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

The most memorable moment was after saying I do, looking at my husband and son with the beautiful scenery being able to enjoy that moment. After we kissed the crowd that was already at the beach clapped. It felt like a fairytale, the sun was starting to set and everything was just beautiful.

ADVICE FOR OTHER COUPLES

Emily & her team do such an amazing job! My advice would be to have lists to make sure you have everything. Try not to worry too much and enjoy the day!
