Rustic decor adorned Eden Vale Inn for Kristy & Michael’s summer California wedding in Placerville.
From the photographer: This beautiful late summer wedding was a classy mix of luxurious and rustic country gardens. It featured many unique elements that the bride and groom worked hard to ensure were perfectly their style. Our favorite aspect of the venue was the pond, complete with rowboat and beautiful backdrop.
From the bride: We wanted a vintage style wedding with some rustic elements, and a touch of glam! We incorporated some vintage furniture and other elements, to achieve the style we were looking for, and the venue was the rustic backdrop that we needed. The attire was beaded long dresses for the women, and 3 piece suits for the men, in an effort to allude to the 1920’s style that we both love. The ceremony was at back of the venue, surrounded by golden hills and a quaint little lake complete with rowboat (reminded us a bit of The Notebook scene) We used the vintage furniture pieces as a lounge area for guests in both the cocktail hour and reception. Many good mercury tea lights were scattered around both areas, and the dance floor was draped in twinkling lights. The beautiful barn style venue was the perfect background for the reception area.
