Kelly and David got married in August 2019 in the ballroom of Comfort Inn in Pittsburgh. From the event planner and sister of the bride: “I wanted WOW. We were limited on venue choices because of the location of certain family members but we found a pretty little hotel ballroom.”
The event planner knew she would need to play on the height of the room and bring in some bigger and higher details throughout the décor. She started with star shaped ceiling drapery and twinkle lights in a vibrant gold.
The head table was adorned with a gold swag and beautiful flower arrangements, including a large centerpiece. Behind it, was a beautiful boxwood backdrop with a Mickey Mouse head silhouette outlined in red roses.
The guests enjoyed the ballroom wedding at tables dress in navy tablecloths with gold swirls for the base. Red satin napkins provided the perfect pop of color.
The bride has been obsessed with Disney and Beauty and the Beast since childhood. It only made sense her special day was Beauty and the Beast themed.
They used two separate centerpieces for a dramatic effect. The shorter centerpieces were domes with a suspended rose and moss. The taller centerpieces were a mixture of roses, peonies, and wisteria in purple, red and gold.
