Kirstin and Blake’s Center for Wooden Boats Wedding

Kirstin and Blake celebrated their marriage at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle, Washington. They partied in the venue’s newly completed Sail Loft.

From the photographer: “They were so thoughtful about everything they did on their wedding day. Kirstin decided to have a first look with her bridesmaids and her dad, in order to have special memories with the people most important in her life.”

Kirstin and Blake got married in a church in the Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. The combination of the floral colors, the location, and the fact that it rained during their reception was the perfect reminder that fall was approaching. Their reception venue is located on Lake Union and is quintessential Seattle.

The couple chose their venue as they walk by it every day on their way to work. It’s right in their neighborhood. From the bride: “My Dad is a wood worker, and as soon as I walked into the building, it flooded me with nostalgia.”

The stunning space offers views of the Space Needle and classic simplicity.

From the bride: “I’ll never forget the thunder and lightening storm during our toasts. Being cozy in the CWB while the lightening lit up the Sail Loft through the skylights…and the rain hitting the roof…sigh…so perfectly romantic.”
