The boutique Villa Amor hotel near Puerto Vallarta was the venue for Kim & Theo’s Mexican destination wedding.
Vibrant colors filled this Mexican destination wedding. With the bride’s work schedule, she didn’t have time for DIY so Esty came to her rescue. She purchased custom invites, a gorgeous papercut ketubah (a Jewish marriage contract) made by an Israeli artist, a matching veil for her dress with French Alecon lace, Mexican tile coasters for my favors, and little brown paper welcome bags we filled with Mexican wedding cookies for guests to have upon check in.
Tips from the bride: I was always the girl who didn’t understand destination weddings. How can you expect your guests to travel all the way to another country for your wedding? Then when we began dreaming up our ideal wedding, we could not think of a better location than Mexico. We envisioned a small, fun, personal wedding where our guests from all over the US could really get to know one another, since most of our close family and friends had never met before. I also couldn’t imagine my wedding only lasting one night, so I knew bringing everyone to Mexico would give us many more memories over the course of a few days.
