Kiersten and James had a quintessential Grand Rapids, Michigan wedding with the ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Andrews followed by a ballroom-style dinner at The Gallery Divani.
A personal touch was the bride’s father’s classic MG vintage car. The couples’ fathers have been best friends since they were in middle school.
The Cathedral of St. Andrews is positioned prominently downtown and can be seen when traveling through Grand Rapids. It’s shining, Gothic-style towers are absolutely majestic.
Situated in the historic Blodgett Building, the Gallery Divani’s private event space features a contemporary, urban haven with exposed brick walls, tall ceilings, and large windows. It is just steps from the historic shops in downtown Grand Rapids.
The decor for their special day was a tribute to their shared love of traveling. Instead of table numbers, each table was named after a country and featured a plane, globe, and suitcase as the centerpiece.
They are looking forward to traveling and seeing the world together.
